Berlusconi: Judges are a “Cancer of Democracy”

Speaking on Wednesday, Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi called prosecutors and judges, a “cancer of democracy”

Is it just me, or is this a worrying statement from the leader of the country in charge of criminal justice reform in Afghanistan?

  1. This is a very good point. Italian culture is rife with criminality at all levels. Member states seem to turn a blind eye as long as they can enjoy their summer holidays at the Med and full up on passta and wine. Some even find it all so amusingly Italian.

The trouble is vulnerable people in society are being hurt.
